This cable harness is designed to be connected to the plastic connector on the upgrade board. The open ended wires are stripped and pre-tinned for easy soldering.

The cable harness saves you half the soldering job as only the points on the player side still need to be soldered. Wires which are unused in connection to your player should be cut off.

This cable harness is ideal for those models which do not have a factory fitted connector on the mainboard! If you have a Sony or a Panasonic player factory-fitted with the connector then it is recommended that you consider one of the pre-confectioned cable harness options instead.
